Valeria Solesin Award 2022

The Award dedicated to Valeria Solesin, the Italian researcher at the Sorbonne of Paris, who died on November 13, 2015, during the Bataclan massacre, is dedicated to the best Master's dissertations on the theme: "Female talent as a determinant factor for the development of the economy, ethics and meritocracy in our country."

The competition is inspired both by Valeria's studies, which explore the theme of the double role of women, divided between family and work and by other branches of research that show how the increase in female employment is a resource for socio-economic development.

All those who have defended their Master's degree by July 31, 2022, in one of the following subject areas are eligible to apply:

  • Economics,
  • Sociology,
  • Law,
  • Political Science,
  • Psychology,
  • Education Sciences,
  • Engineering,
  • Demography and Statistics.

Cash prizes for a total value of 28,700 euros will be offered to the winners.

The deadline for submission is August 10, 2022.
