Italian Fund for Applied Sciences (FISA 2022): send your proposal

From October 7, 2022, to December 13, 2022, by 12 o'clock noon, applications can be submitted to access the resources of the Fondo Italiano per le scienze applicate 2022 (Italian Fund for Applied Sciences 2022 - FISA).

The FISA, set up by the 2022 Budget Law, which allocated 50 million euros for 2022, aims to promote the competitiveness of the national production system through the enhancement of industrial research and experimental development. The FISA supports project proposals submitted by individual researchers (Principal Investigators) belonging to the public or private sector of national research in any field of science. The projects must show marked characteristics of originality and innovativeness and be able to foster socio-economic and industrial impact. Projects can cover any scientific topic but must have a duration of a minimum of two and a maximum of five years and a total cost of no less than 1 million euros and no more than 5 million euros.

The project proposals that pass the scientific evaluation phase will be admitted to the negotiation phase for the definition of the organizational aspects of the intervention, also on the basis of the improvement elements that may emerge during the evaluation.
