Paediatric Simulation Games

The resuscitation team of the “Policlinico Umberto I” specialisation students placed second in the series of challenges simulating paediatric emergencies.

Sapienza University hosted the 2nd edition of the “Paediatric Simulation Games” at the “Polo Pontino” Campus on September 10-14. For five days, 32 paediatric school teams from around Italy challenged each other by “saving the lives” of electronic mannequins.

The Paediatric Emergency Olympics are conceived and organised by Sapienza University in collaboration with the Latina ASL, the Italian Society for Paediatric Medical Emergencies, the Italian Society of Paediatricians, the Permanent Conference of Paediatric Specialisation Schools, the National Observatory for Paediatric Specialisation Schools and the Sapienza Research Centre for the Evaluation of Quality in Medicine.
