Sapienza cares for the carers. Sapienza University, together with ANIA, for a project aimed at supporting the university hospitals' healthcare professionals. Considerations for mental and psychosocial well-being during COVID-19 emergency developed by the WHO

The Deans of the Faculties of Pharmacy and Medicine, Medicine and Dentistry, and Medicine and Psychology and Sapienza University promote the “Sapienza cares for the carers” project, in partnership with ANIA Foundation. The project is aimed at providing psychological support for the University Hospitals' physicians and healthcare professionals who are the front line during the current Coronavirus medical emergency. Psychologists, coordinated by the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology and after adequate training, will provide online support twenty-four-seven. As part of the project, a multidisciplinary team translated into Italian these 30 considerations for mental and psychosocial well-being during COVID-19 emergency developed by the World Health Organization

The Deans of the Faculties of Pharmacy and Medicine, Medicine and Dentistry, and Medicine and Psychology and Sapienza University promote the “Sapienza cares for the carers” project, in partnership with ANIA Foundation. The project is aimed at providing psychological support for the University Hospitals' physicians and healthcare professionals who are the front line during this Coronavirus medical emergency. The psychologists, coordinated by the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, after adequate training will provide online support twenty-four-seven. As part of the project, a multidisciplinary team translated into Italian the following 30 considerations for mental and psychosocial well-being, developed by the World Health Organization. The document includes a list of principles and essential advice for citizens and healthcare professionals. This is why the WHO considerations, in Italian, have been renamed “Consider-azioni” (“Consider – actions”) and accurately translated.
