Sapienza Publishing House & Press Centre
Sapienza Publishing House
Sapienza Università Editrice, the Sapienza University Publishing House, was created in 1988 thanks to an idea by Professor Antonio Ruberti. The publishing house is managed by the Sapienza Press Centre (Centro Stampa Università).
The Sapienza Publishing House promotes the university’s goals of excellence in research and education through the publication of books and magazines and guarantees quality at a reduced cost. The publishing house also welcomes texts from authors outside the Sapienza Community, both Italian and foreign.
All published works are selected by an editorial committee with representatives from all of Sapienza’s areas of competence. The committee evaluates the scientific quality of submitted works with the help of external referees. Works published by Sapienza includes monographic works, manuals, conference acts and scientific journals. Moreover, it is also open to educational essays.
Works are published both as books and e-books: PDF (even Open Access) and ePub. Digital formats were first published in 2015. Now, all ePub works are available from national and international distributors (Amazon, La Feltrinelli, StreetLib Store, Kokobooks.com, Apple iBook Store, Google Play Store and others). Moreover, all works published by Sapienza may be published on-line at www.editricesapienza.it
