Sunday 24 March is the last ecological Sunday: total prohibition of circulation within the Green Belt for vehicles equipped with an internal combustion engine from 7.30 to 12.30 and from 16.30 to 20.30. The limitation also includes Euro 6 diesel vehicles. Roads off-limits for cars and scooters. Unique cycling and pedestrian network, initiatives with organizations and associations

A ring road of about 15 km will remain for the whole day closed to traffic and apen to pedestrians and cyclists. Among the interested streets: via Cola di Rienzo, via Tiburtina (San Lorenzo), via dei Fori Imperiali and largo Corrado Ricci, via XX Settembre, piazza Venezia, viale Manzoni, via Labicana, via Veneto.

Along the ring, a series of initiatives, events, activities and neighborhood parties will enrich the itineraries, to reinforce a new cultural approach to mobility and a new use of the road, on a human scale and to safeguard weaker users.

The project is promoted by Roma Capitale, coordinated by the "City in Movement" Department, with the Departments "Sport, Youth Policies and Major Events", "Cultural Growth", "Environmental Sustainability", "Economic Development, Tourism and Work" , "Person, School and Community of Solidarity", and is maintained by Rome Services for Mobility with the collaboration of the Municipalities, the Local Police and the Zètema Culture Project.
