Educational Planning Area

Sapienza Education Manager is a high-ranking official who collaborates directly with the Area Director, mediating between the Academic Programmes and Education Welfare Area, the Faculties and the Degree Programmes, coordinating, directing and supporting the activities of the Faculty Education Managers.

The Office also manages activities related to:


  • Organisation, activation, and deactivation of Level I and II degree programmes, in agreement with the SUA staff and the databases defined by the MIUR, CUN, and ANVUR;
  • Institution and management of Level I and II degree programmes activated in cooperation with other Italian and foreign universities;
  • Agreements for teaching and inter-university courses;
  • Management of the procedures of the Regolamento Didattico di Ateneo;
  • Coordination and evaluation of the faculties' Manifesto;
  • Collaboration with HR on teaching reporting procedures and researcher payments;
  • Excellence programmes.

The Course Catalogue Office collaborates in the realization of the document related to the University policies and to the programming of the Course Catalogue which defines, in line with the provisions of the University Strategic Plan, Sapienza strategy for the formulation of the annual Academic Programmes.
