Engineering: Restricted-access Degree Programmes with TOLC-I

Admission procedures for Academic Year 2019-20  are now open for restricted-access bachelors degree programmes at two Sapienza Faculties of Engineering.

  • Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering (ICI)
  • Faculty of Information Engineering, Information Technology and Statistics (I3S)

All the procedures are described in the call (in Italian, see downloads)

Restricted-access Degree Programmes with TOLC-I for Academic Year 2019-20

  • 29394 - Ingegneria aerospaziale
  • 29907 - Ingegneria chimica
  • 29909 - Ingegneria energetica
  • 29910 - Ingegneria meccanica
  • 29930 - Ingegneria gestionale
  • 29931 - Ingegneria informatica e automatica
  • 29923 - Informatica

Application procedures for other degree programmes at these two faculties will be published at a later date.

To take the TOLC-I exams, which are mandatory to enrol in the above degree programmes, candidates must follow the procedures and deadlines indicated on the Cisia Website:

Registration for selections

To participate in one of the selections you need to pay a 10 € registration fee using the proper payment slip and following the procedure below:

  • if you are not already registered, register (please note: if at the time of registration you have not earned your Upper Secondary Education diploma you will have to tick the box "Diplomando")
  • access the system with your registration number and password
  • go to “Corsi di laurea” (Bachelors and masters degree programmes)
  • go to "Accesso ai corsi" (Admission to degree programmes)
  • enter the selection procedure code that you will find on the call for applications in point 1.2
  • go to “Prosegui” (Continue) and print the payment slip
  • pay the 10 € registration fee within the deadline prescribed in the payment slip
  • you may pay over the counter or online (Unicredit) Read the instructions

Notes

  • you may register for the selection before or after having taken the TOLC-I. Important: you must necessarily take the TOLC- I within 24:00 of the day before the registration deadline for the selection;
  • to register for another selection you must pay a new 10 € registration fee using a new payment slip following the procedure described above;
  • the e-mail address you give when registering on Infostud will be used to send possible communications during the selection procedure, we therefore recommend that you check the e-mail address is correct and operating.

Deadlines

  • to participate in the first selection: from 5 March to 13 April 2018
  • to participate in the second selection: from 7 May to 23 July 2018
  • to participate in the third selection: from 30 July to 12 September 2018

Isee calculation

The Isee (Equivalent economic Status indicator) calculation has to be made by Caf (Italian tax advice centre) and it is essential to determine the amount of the tuition fees.

Deadlines

The Isee calculation must be made at least 30 days before the pre-enrolment deadlines (see point below).
The type of Isee 2018 that has to be requested is “per il diritto allo studio universitario” (for the right to University education).

Procedure

After having had your Isee calculated, you must complete the Isee acquisition process on Infostud following these instructions:

The “Get Isee” operation (Acquisisci Isee) on Infostud may also be completed during the pre-enrolment process

Pre-enrolment

If you were successful in the first or second selection you will have to pay up to 200 € (the sum varies according to the Isee), the amount paid will be deducted from the first instalment of tuition fees.

Notes

  • if your Isee is less than or equal to 14,000 € you will not be asked to pay this sum (at the time of Pre-enrolment the Isee must have been already acquired on Infostud). In such case, you will be automatically considered as pre-enrolled and you will only have to complete the enrolment process within the prescribed deadlines;
  • if you have an impairment severity rating equal to or greater than 66% you will only be asked to pay 30 €. The disability condition has to be stated on Infostud, in the Profile (Profilo) section, or at the time of Pre-enrolment.

Deadlines

  • for successful candidates in the first selection: from 20 April to 4 May 2018
  • for successful candidates in the second selection: from 27 July to 6 August 2018

Procedure

The sum that has to be paid for Pre-enrolment must be processed with a credit transfer, from any bank.
You may make the payment over the counter or online. In the credit transfer you must specify:
the reason for payment (write: “Pre-immatricolazione” + your registration number)
the Faculty International Bank Account Number (Iban)

  • the Iban for the degree programmes of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial engineering (aerospace Engineering, chemical Engineering, energy Engineering, mechanical Engineering) is:

Over the counter credit transfers for Unicredit account holders
If you are going to process the payment from a Unicredit bank account and you want to make the credit transfer over the counter, you must use the form “Operazioni per cassa”, with the option cash in favour of the Treasury Institution (Incasso a favore di Ente di tesoreria), specifying, according to the selected degree programme, the Institution Code (Codice Ente) and the Institution Name (Nome Ente).

After the payment
The proof of payment must be scanned, saved in a pdf file, and uploaded on Infostud following the instructions below:
Access Infostud with your registration number and password
Corsi di laurea>menù di sinistra>procedure speciali>Pre-Immatricolazione (Bachelors and masters degree programmes>left menù>special procedures>Pre-enrolment)
Starting from 3 September you must complete the enrolment process following the procedure indicated in the Enrolment section.

Enrolment

Enrolment consists in paying the first instalment of tuition fees.
Please note: if at the time of registration you ticked the box “Diplomando”, before you print the payment slip, you will have to fill in the missing data following this procedure:

Deadlines

  • for successful candidates in the first and second selection: from 3 September to 7 September 2018
  • for successful candidates in the third selection: from 14 to 19 September 2018
  • for candidates who became successful with the first ranking update: from 24 to 28 September 2018
  • for candidates who became successful with the second ranking update: from 3 to 8 October 2018

Procedure

  • access the system with your registration number and password
  • go to "Corsi di laurea" (Bachelors and masters degree programmes)
  • go to "Primo anno" (first year)
  • enter the data
  • go to "Genera bollettini" (Create payment slips)
  • the system will show two different payment slips, one with the first instalment of tuition fees only, the other one with all the three instalments: you may choose which of the two payment slips you wish to pay.
  • the payment will have to be made at a Unicredit Group bank (over the counter or online) within the date prescribed in the payment slip
  • check the payment methods
  • the payment will be registered on Infostud within 24-48 hours.
  • after having paid the tuition fees you do not need to go to the student affairs office nor submit the proof of payment or other documents (diploma, photo, etc...).
  • once the payment has been registered on Infostud you must activate your institutional e-mail address
  • read the instructions

Procedures for Candidates with Foreign Diplomas (or equivalent)

Candidates who have received their high school diploma (or equivalent) abroad – whether they are Italian citizens, EU citizens or Non-EU citizens regularly residing in Italy – must (besides completing the full procedure described in the call) also must submit the documentation required by MIUR to the Hello Sector – Foreign Students by the enrolment deadlines indicated in Call Art. 4.1.

These include:

  • Photocopy of entrance visa for Non-EU citizens regularly residing abroad or a photocopy of the residence permit (permesso di soggiorno) for Non-EU citizens regularly residing in Italy;
  • Stamped photocopy of the high school diploma (or equivalent) obtained after no less than 12 years of studies, including a translation and Declaration of Value;
  • Photocopy of an Identity Document (Passport, etc.)
