Erasmus Call 2020-21 for Studies
From January 13 to March 4, 2020, the Erasmus + calls will be reopened.
Erasmus+ allows students to spend 3-12 months at one of our 500 partner universities throughout Europe. There are approximately 2,000 scholarships available thanks to over 1,500 bilateral agreements that Sapienza has signed since 1987 with European universities. Sapienza is also a founding member of the Civis European Alliance that, thanks to the new Erasmus + calls create significant opportunities for student mobility. CIVIS - A European Civic University is one of the 17 projects approved by the European Commission since 2019 along with the following universities:
Free University of Brussels,
University of Tübingen,
Autonomous University of Madrid,
National Kapodistrian University of Athens,
University of Bucharest,
University of Stockholms.
From this year on, a 10% reserve of the total funds is primarily intended for mobility and dedicated to those students who choose a partner university. Eligible students going to Partner Countries could receive a monthly grant up to 800 euros based on the student’s ISEE (indicator of equivalent economic situation).
Erasmus + new calls, programme and the new opportunities of Civis, will be presented on Thursday, January 16 at the Aula Magna. One of the main purposes of the event is to debunk the several misconceptions surrounding Erasmus + mobility. Such misinformation often inhibits our young students and prevents them from living this great cultural, professional, and personal opportunity.
