Over the last five years, Sapienza has implemented an investment policy to develop the Sapienza Research Infrastructure: laboratories and large equipment to support excellence in research activities and promote innovation, technology transfer and local business incubation.
The infrastructural strategy is to create a technological platform to support business, share technology resources and skills, collaborate and support growth, and update and internationalise processes with a strong multidisciplinary vocation, as established by the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) and the National Industry Plan 4.0.
At present, the Sapienza Research Infrastructure includes:
- Nanotechnology and Nanoscience Laboratory (SNN-Lab);
- “Saperi&Co” Research Infrastructure, which hosts a Fab Lab, a co-working space and 4 Labs-on-Demand for S3 Lazio Region topics;
- Large University Equipment (GAA).
