Call for proposals (in Italian)

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has published this call for proposals to fund joint projects in the following areas:

1. Quantum Technology, e.g., quantum computing, quantum optics and quantum metrology;
2. Solar Science – research on solar physics, solar thermal energy and solar based technologies.

The call aims to support collaborative research activities between Italian and Swedish research groups, with particular emphasis on the involvement of early-career researchers in the project teams.

Project proposals must be jointly prepared by the Italian and Swedish Principal Investigators (PIs) and submitted to their respective ministries.

The Italian PI must submit the application exclusively through the MAECI online portal by September 8, 2026 at 14:00 (CEST).

Each PI may submit only one project proposal. The Italian PI must also upload to the MAECI online portal the Letter of Endorsement (available in the attachments section of this page), duly signed by the university's legal representative (the Rector).
