Sapienza has chosen a Quality Policy and a Quality Insurance coherent with the AVA system lead by a Quality Management approach organized in coherence with the activities related to each faculty, to help in the selfevaluation processes. This is a consequence of having improved skills in the evaluation of Study Courses and the partecipation in projects like Progetti Campus, CampuOne (CRUI) in collaboration with its PerCorso Qualità Sapienza.
With the approval of the Academic Senate n. 37/13 from 26/02/2013 and the Board of Directors n. 35/13 from 05/03/2013 has updated its Quality Insurance System with the latest updates from Miur and Anvur.
The bodies involved in the implementation, in the Sapienza Quality Insurance System, besides the Central Management (Strategic Planning and Communications Area, Academic Programmes, Student Affairs Area, Enhancement and Technological Transfer Area, International Office, ITC InfoSapienza Centre, Accounting Finance & Management Control Area), the Evaluation Committee and the Didactic Commission:
- Faculty Directors
- Academics and Students Equal Faculty Committee
- Faculty Monitoring Committee;
- CdS/CADs Directors;
- Quality Insurance of Study Courses Management Committee
- University and Faculty Didactic Managers;
- Didactics and Research Spokepersons
Given the complexity and articulation of the Sapienza Quality Assurance activities, the Quality and Assurance Presidium
has a composition and a qualitatively and quantitatively adequate operational structure, consisting of an academic component, of teachers of the SA's educational / scientific macro-areas with specific skills and by an administrative component on the topics of evaluation of didactics, research and information systems.
For these reasons the Quality and Assurance Presidium is composed by an academic member of each scientific macro-area, by the Didactic University Committee President by the Areas Directors of the Management Areas and the Prorector of the Right to Education Area and Didactic Quality
