ASYMPTOMATIC

For asymptomatic positive cases (those who have always been asymptomatic), those with booster dose or 2 doses within the last 120 days (4 months), the following measures apply:

• 7-day self-isolation from diagnosis. Isolation ends with a negative result (antigenic or molecular test) performed on day 7.
• Testing: end-of-isolation antigenic or molecular test performed no earlier than day 7.
• Return to Sapienza: the result of a negative third-generation antigenic test (COI) or molecular test or the “certificate di fine isolamento” produced by the GP shall be sent to the Centro di Medicina Occupazionale (CMO).

SYMPTOMATIC

For symptomatic positive cases, with booster dose or 2 doses/single dose within the last 120 days (4 months), the following measures apply:

• 10-day self-isolation from diagnosis. Isolation ends with a negative result (antigenic or molecular test) performed on day 10 only if asymptomatic for at least 3 days (excluding alterations in smell or taste).
• Testing: end-of-isolation antigenic or molecular test performed no earlier than day 10.
• Return to Sapienza: the result of a negative third-generation antigenic test (COI) or molecular test or the “certificate di fine isolamento” produced by the GP shall be sent to the Centro di Medicina Occupazionale (CMO).

For non-boosted cases with 2 doses/single dose for more than 120 days (4 months) or those who have not completed their vaccination for at least 14 days or are not vaccinated, the following measures apply:

• 10-day self-isolation from diagnosis. Isolation ends with a negative result (antigenic or molecular test) performed on day 10 only if asymptomatic for at least 3 days (excluding alterations in smell or taste).
• Testing: end-of-isolation antigenic or molecular test performed no earlier than day 10.
• Return to Sapienza: the result of a negative third-generation antigenic test (COI) or molecular test or the “certificate di fine isolamento” produced by the GP shall be sent to the Centro di Medicina Occupazionale (CMO).

For long-term positive cases, the following measures apply:

• 21-day self-isolation from diagnosis if symptom-free for at least seven days (excluding alterations in smell or taste).
• Testing: Antigenic or molecular test.
• Return to Sapienza: the result of a negative third-generation antigenic test (COI) or molecular test or the result of the antigenic test and “certificate di fine isolamento” produced by the GP shall be sent to the Centro di Medicina Occupazionale (CMO).
