Research Internationalisation

The Internationalisation Area provides information, support and technical assistance to professors, researchers and technical and administrative staff to promote and foster the international dimension of scientific research in different fields.


Framework Programme

Promote and support university participation in European and international research projects, with particular attention to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and ERC Funds;


International Agreements

Promote research and teaching activities between Sapienza University of Rome and partner institutions through the mobility of professors, researchers, and students;


Visiting Research Professors

Promote and support the funding of foreign visiting professors for joint research activities;


Participation in EU and International Programmes

Manage procedures ex "Regulation of activities carried out under Community and international programmes" (e.g. presentation of projects, university quotas, incentive payments);


Visas for Scientific Research

Support the admission of non-EU citizens for scientific research purposes;


Information and Awareness Raising

Collection and dissemination of information on funding opportunities for international research via the F1RST weekly newsletter and organization of training and awareness events for participation in EU and international scientific research programmes;



EU promotion and dissemination via the Euraxess Portal of funding opportunities for researchers.
