TECHNOLOGY:  SAPIENZATERAHERTZ: THZ SPECTROSCOPIC IMAGE SYSTEM FOR BASIC AND APPLIED SCIENCES. The laboratory is equipped with a THz source based on the Quantum Cascade Laser technology which represents the state of the art of the modern laser technology for THz emission with high average power and in continuous mode (CW). A bolometric THz camera is used to acquire images at THz frequencies with high sensitivity. This technology represents the state of the art of the THz detectors working at room temperature.
