Art. 29 - INCREASED ONE-OFF TUITION FEES

1.    Tuition fees with a surcharge equal to 15% of the amount due, destined for those who from 2024-2025 enrol in the second year fuoricorso (beyond the legal duration of the programme) of bachelor's degrees, two-year master's degrees, single-cycle degrees, who do not opt for part-time learning and who do not meet the merit requirements (Isee up to €30,000 and 25 ECTS obtained between August 11 of the previous year and August 10 of the current year). The 15% threshold may be increased to 20% in the subsequent years of application, in the event of a lack of positive feedback on the reduction in the number of off-course students, given the negative impact on the University budget and in consideration of the cost-per-student standard mechanisms on the Ordinary Financing Fund provided by the Government (Board of Governors' resolution of May 30, 2023).

2.    Students indicated below pay tuition fees with a 50% surcharge of the amount due:

a.    those who are still enrolled in degree programmes under the old academic system (prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99) and have not yet forfeited;

b.    those enrolling from the third year fuoricorso of bachelor's degrees, two-year master's degrees, single-cycle degrees, who do not opt for part-time learning and who do not meet the requirements set out in Article 20 of these Regulations (Isee up to €30,000 and 25 ECTS obtained between August 11 of the previous year and August 10 of the current year);

c.     those who have enrolled on part-time learning (Art. 50) and have exceeded the agreed period of study.

The surcharges do not apply to those enrolled in distance-learning programmes that provide for a single fixed-fee contribution (Art. 26).
