Non-formal and Informal Courses
Sapienza University of Rome, in addition to its numerous Level 1, 2 and 3 degree programmes (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, Postgraduate degrees and Advanced Professional Courses), offers a wide range of other non-formal and informal learning opportunities to provide strategic and transversal skills in response to the needs of a knowledge-based society and a constantly evolving labour market.
The non-formal learning offer consists of all educational activities that do not lead to a qualification/certificate recognised by school and university regulations but to a skill certification. It is intended not only for students enrolled in our University but also for non-student users (pupils and secondary school teachers, graduates, workers and citizens in general).
The informal learning offer consists of activities of a social or cultural nature, which cannot be directly configured as training activities, to the realisation of which Sapienza contributes with its own human and structural resources, at the end of which the acquisition of specific skills is recognised and certification in the form of an Open Badge is possible.
To meet specific training needs, Sapienza can collaborate with public and private sector organisations or companies for the use, delivery and design of targeted training courses.
