The Unit is responsible for:

• Management of funding for development cooperation projects through Sapienza's funds;
• support and promotion of special international cooperation programmes (UNESCO Chairs, World Bank, MAECI, AICS, FAO, EUROPEAID, INTERREG, ENI, etc.);
• cataloging development cooperation initiatives carried out by Sapienza structures and
• report processing;
• promotion of international partnerships aimed at implementing development cooperation
• projects funded by national and international public and private institutions, along with
• providing technical assistance.
• promotion and support for the establishment of networks and partnerships with international
• organisations;
• organisation of seminars and events on topics related to development cooperation and/or
• international cooperation, also in collaboration with networks involving Sapienza;
• management of visiting professor funding and support for hosting procedures; monitoring of visits.
