On Thursday 23 May it was renewed by the sole director of Ama S.p.a. Massimo Bagatti and the dean of the Faculty of Architecture Anna Maria Giovenale the framework agreement with the AMA which promotes and disciplines the didactic-scientific collaboration between the two bodies

The agreement, which has been already active for four years and confirmed for the four-year period 2019/2022, has the purpose of continuing the reciprocal exchange of competences both in training and in the development of research programmes on issues relating to the environment and management some waste. The collaboration between Ama and the Faculty of Architecture promotes educational activities aimed at facilitating the inclusion of students in the world of work through the professional specialization, improvement and updating of graduates. The activities conducted in the first four years of activity have made it possible to increase, through workshops and internships, the knowledge and sensitivity of students on the issues of proper waste management and reuse. in particular, a degree laboratory was established on "Ecological Islands and Sustainable Re-use Centers". Through this workshop the students were involved in the design work of a Collection Center for bulky, electronic and "special" waste and a Reuso center complementary to the existing Ama facilities in via della Bufalotta, via Laurentina and via dell Ateneo Salesiano.
