Using brain electrophysiological markers in Alzheimer's studies
Claudio Babiloni, Professor of the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology and President of the Electrophysiology Professional Interest Area (EPIA) of the Alzheimer's Association, talks about the aims of EPIA in a short video. The different initiatives will be presented at the virtual EPIA Day 2020 meeting, which will take place on August 6, 2020.
The Electrophysiology professional interest area aims to promote the use of brain nerve cell populations' electrophysiological markers to improve both the understanding of the neurophysiopathological mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease and the application of such markers in clinical studies conducted with patients and animal models.
The EPIA initiatives will be presented during the EPIA Day 2020, an online meeting organised by ISTAART, which will be held on August 6, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm Italian time.
