Ottobre Rosa (Pink October) is a regional campaign for prevention, awareness and health education for the early diagnosis of breast cancer. Sapienza is also promoting a series of events aimed at the entire university community.

On Tuesday, October 21, FrecciaRosa, a campaign promoted by the FS Group and IncontraDonna Foundation, will return to the FS Logistix premises, just a few metres from the Marco Polo Building, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free screenings and vaccinations will be offered to both residents and non-residents of ASL Roma 1 during the campaign.

Giornata della Salute e della Prevenzione (Health and Prevention Day)

On Thursday, October 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., along Viale della Minerva on the Main Campus, there will be free medical examinations, screenings and check-ups for students and all staff. The initiative has been organised together with Disco Lazio and the Lazio Region, in collaboration with ASL Roma 1, Policlinico Umberto I General Hospital, the Red Cross, INAIL, ISS, as well as Radio Dimensione Suono Roma, which will broadcast the event live.
