
FrecciaRosa 2025: free vaccines and medical screening at Scalo San Lorenzo, in Rome
FrecciaRosa returns on Tuesday, October 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Viale dello Scalo di San Lorenzo 16 in Rome, just a few metres from the Marco Polo Building. This campaign, promoted by the FS Group and the IncontraDonna Foundation, aims to raise awareness of the importance of prevention.
The initiative, promoted in collaboration with Sapienza University and ASL Roma 1, will be offering free services inside the prevention truck at FS Logistix:
- Pap tests/HPV tests (for residents aged 25 to 64 in the ASL Roma 1 catchment area)
- HPV vaccination (for boys and girls, men and women aged 11 to 26, regardless of residence or domicile)
- Mammograms (women aged 45 to 49 with mandatory booking and women aged 50 to 74 with free access, residents in the ASL Roma 1 area)
- Colon rectum kit collection (men and women aged 50 to 74)
- Flu vaccination and HCV screening
During the day, volunteers from Fondazione IncontraDonna will distribute the Vademecum della salute written in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. In addition, it will be possible to access the screening booking service for the entire Lazio region, and awareness-raising activities on active prevention campaigns will be carried out.
