
Take Part in the Hult Prize, the Nobel Prize for Students
Hult Prize in Sapienza
La Sapienza has been selected to host an on campus edition of the Hult Prize, the largest students movement to create a start-up at hight social impact, social business and business for-good. the annual Hult Prize gives one million dollars in start-up capital to the students team with the more revolutionary and innovative idea, developed to solve more social challenges in different parts of the world.
In collaboration with the United Nations, the Hult Prize hosts at the same time universitary events everywhere in the world, while searching for the next world changing start-up. Jasmine Mohsin, Campus Director Hult Prize Sapienza 2019, will lead the Hult Prize OnCampus event at Sapienza University.
This year's theme is Youth Unemployment.
How the competition is structured
Every student will make a team between 3 and 4 participants, together with whom will develope an idea to solve the 2019 Unites Nations Case Challenge. The winning team of the on-campus event will be admitted to one of the 15 regional competitions i different cities in the world. After that, with the WildCard opportunity the team will can access the Hult Prize summer summit, located in the famous Castle of Ashridge (home of the famous Harry Potter films). In the latter the teams will receive advice, strategy and planning on the world of startups from international mentors while they will create prototypes and set-ups to launch their new social business. Finally, the last round of the competition will be hosted in September 2019 at the United Nations headquarters in New York, where the winning team will receive the grand prize of $ 1,000,000.

Join the Call
The Call is now open for both volounteers who want to help organizing/assist the event and the teams interested in the competition!
The call is open for Sapienza students enrolled in any study programme (Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, PhDs).
Three meetings are planned to provide operational information to effectively process the projects and present them according to the standards established by Hult Prize.
The projects will be selected in December, on the final day.
The meetings will take place according to the following schedule (hall to be defined):
- Tuesday Nov 13 from 15:00 to 18:00
- Wednesday Nov 21 from 15:00 to 18:00
- Wednesday Nov 28 from 15:00 to 18:00
- Friday Dec 14 from 10:00 to 17:00
