The Pontiff has appointed Alessandra Talamo of the Department of Psychology of Developmental and Socialisation Processes and in charge of the Telepsychology service for operators in humanitarian crisis contexts as Consultor to the Pontifical Council for Culture of the Vatican State.

The Pontifical Council for Culture is a department of the Roman Curia that assists the Pope in his encounters with different cultural worlds to maintain an open dialogue with representatives of science and the arts. The Pontifical Council for Culture is made up of consultors, experts from all over the world in the various branches of culture, representing the daily perspectives of the secular world.
