Carlo Catalano new president of the European Society of Radiology

Carlo Catalano, of the Department of Radiological Sciences, Oncology and Anatomical Pathology, has been elected president of the European Society of Radiology, the medical-scientific society with the largest number of representatives in Europe.

Carlo Catalano, from the Department of Radiological Sciences, Oncology and Anatomical Pathology, the Rectress's delegate for digitisation and innovative technologies for medicine and biomedical research, has been chosen by the over 110,000 members as president of the European Society of Radiology, the scientific society with the most representatives in Europe.

The European Society of Radiology is the largest radiological society in the world, with 121,608 members. It is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to promote and coordinate the scientific, professional and intellectual activities of radiologists in all European nations.
