Christmas at Sapienza's nursery school
On Monday, December 18, Rector Antonella Polimeni and Director General Simonetta Ranalli met with the children of Sapienza's nursery school for the traditional exchange of greetings and gifts in the run-up to Christmas.
It was a festive moment for the young pupils of our University, made even more so by the presence of Santa Claus. At the end of the visit, all the children sat in a circle and listened to the Rector and the Director General read the Christmas story 'The Snowflake' by Benji Davies.
The nursery school, located on the Main Campus, was opened in 1976 and is the first example of a company nursery school in an Italian university. The importance of this facility lies in the welfare and organisational wellbeing and its commitment to promoting equal opportunities and work-life balance for Sapienza staff.
