Donne che fanno la differenza - 35 years of Marisa Bellisario Prize
On Friday, February 24, 2023, the Rectorate Building's Aula Magna hosted the event "Donne che fanno la differenza - 35 years of the Marisa Bellisario Prize". President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, was also present. Rector Antonella Polimeni and Foundation President Lella Golfo presented the activities.
The event celebrated the 'first' 35 years of the Prize established by the Marisa Bellisario Foundation, the brainchild of Lella Golfo, to support women in their professional and personal lives, to enhance their merit and talent, to favour women's careers, and to raise public, institutional and economic awareness of the achievement of real equal opportunities. During the event, which brought together some of the more than 600 women awarded the Golden Apples, numerous speeches, musical interludes, experiences and videos recounted their unwavering commitment to women and Italy.
