On Thursday, May 6, the European Research Council is holding a ceremony to celebrate the milestone of 10,000 scientists and scholars from Europe and beyond who have benefited from ERC funding, to pursue their best ideas at the frontiers of knowledge, and have thus helped transform science and research.

The event will take place online with the participation of the ERC President Jean-Pierre Bourguignon, the President of the European Parliament David Sassoli and the President of the European Commission Ursula Von Der Leyen.

Among the 10,000 funded scientists, only three highlight speakers were selected; Roberto Navigli of the Department of Computer Science at Sapienza University is one of them.
