
International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Free activities for prevention and well-being
On Thursday, November 25, from 10.00 am to 4:00 pm, at the Main Campus's car park next to the CIAO-HELLO offices, Sapienza will organise a whole day of free activities for female students and women of our community
To celebrate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women promoted by the United Nations General Assembly, the Sapienza In Movimento student association will be organising, together with numerous partners, special activities aimed at raising awareness of gender-based violence, spaces to promote psycho-physical well-being and medical prevention and information desks on free services for students provided by Sapienza.
The following activities will be free of charge and in full compliance with anti-COVID-19 regulations. COVID-19 green certificate mandatory.
- cardio-metabolic screening
- medical counselling for eating disorders
- screening for first level thyroid disease
- screening for gynaecological conditions and infections
- information on breast cancer prevention
- blood donation; complete check-up with blood tests
- breast examinations
- information on the Sapienza Psychological Counselling service
- psychological counselling on eating disorders
- guidance on combating and preventing gender-based violence
- information on combating sexually transmitted infections
- information on temporary GPs (general practitioners) for off-campus students
- orientation with the Sapienza anti-smoking unit
- outdoor sports activities
