On February 14, a delegation composed by Prof. Boutarfaia Ahmed, Rector of the University of Biskra (Algeria), Mahmoud Debabeche, Deputy Rector for International Relations and Cooperation was welcomed to Sapienza University of Rome by Prof. Carlo Giovanni Cereti, Delegate for International Cooperation, Prof. Fabio Grassi, Representative of the EURAS (Eurasian University Union) Executive Board and staff from the Sapienza International Office and Research Area.

The University of Biskra is a project partner for a proposal that Sapienza University has developed as part of the Erasmus + International Credit Unity 2019 Programme.

The meeting focused on identifying opportunities for collaboration in the following faculties: Biology and Biotechnology, Architecture, Agronomy, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Documentary Sciences and Archaeology. Discussion also addressed research activities and the mobility of students, academic staff and administrative personnel.
