The 4th edition of the Nostalgia Film Festival, the first Iranian independent film festival in Italy, will be held in three cities: Rome, Milan and Naples. Like last year, the Nuovo Teatro Ateneo will be hosting the Rome edition of the festival from November 15 to 17.

Nostalgia is an event with no ties to political or religious organisations, founded in 2019 with the aim of introducing Iranian film production to a wide European audience through documentaries, short and feature films (with Italian subtitles). The event aims to create a space through which Iranian audience can remember and reflect on its roots and cultural and artistic history. It is also a unique opportunity for non-Iranian audiences to discover the richness of a country with thousands of years of culture.
