The Pontifical International Marian Academy appointed Filomena Maggino, Professor of Social Statistics, as an honorary member
The president of the Pontifical International Marian Academy, Stefano Cecchin, has appointed as an honorary member Filomena Maggino, professor of Social Statistics at the Department of Statistical Sciences and president of Benessere Italia, a technical-scientific support body to the Prime Minister.
The appointment follows the establishment of the Benessere Integrale bilateral commission, set up between the Holy See and the Italian Republic, intending to cooperate on academic and cultural programmes to promote genuine integral well-being for everyone.
The Pontifical International Marian Academy is a Holy See's institution dedicated to the study of Mary, Mariology, as a dialogue between cultures.
