The terrible earthquake on the border between Turkey and Syria on the night of 6 February, which claimed thousands of lives, also took the young life of Nesrin Kara, one of our students. Nesrin was enrolled in the Master's degree programme in Cognitive Neuroscience at the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology. 

Sapienza University, which is deeply saddened, extends its condolences to Nesrin's family, friends and colleagues, and the Rector Antonella Polimeni, on behalf of herself and the entire community, expresses her deepest sympathy for this dramatic loss.
