On Monday, 30 May 2022, at 4.30 pm, the Casina Macchia Madama (Monte Mario, Rome) will be hosting the opening conference of the 'Second LARES 2 and fifth LARES International Science Workshop'. The event will talk about time and the possibility of time travelling. These topics will be covered by Kip Thorne, Nobel Prize in 2017 for his study of gravitational waves, and Roger Penrose, Nobel Prize in 2020 for his study of black holes. Paul Davies, scientist and science popularizer, and Igor Novikov, time travel theorist, will also participate in the panel discussion. Face masks are mandatory, also outdoors.
