Rector Polimeni and the entire Sapienza Community express solidarity and support for the intern of Healthcare Professions who was sexually assaulted last night at the Policlinico Umberto I General Hospital. Sapienza condemns all forms of violence, abuse, harassment, and gender discrimination and reaffirms its daily commitment to guaranteeing respect for human dignity and safety in the workplace. In addition to those envisaged by Sapienza's Gender Equality Plan and the recent opening of our Anti-Violence Centre, new initiatives must be implemented.
