The Lazio Region Register validates Sapienza University as a Civil Service body. It collaborates with the National Civil Service Office to promote this option among students, organizing events and spreading information. 

The National Civil Service is managed by the National Civil Service Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers  (law 64 from 2001) and gives young people between 18 and 28 years old, of either sex, a prospect for personal growth through commitment in social, enviromental, cultural and educational areas.
