Admission requirements for Bachelor's degrees, and single-cycle degrees

 

1.    Five-year high school diploma. In order to be admitted to a Bachelor's degree or Single-cycle degree it is required to hold a five-year high school diploma or another qualification from a recognised international education system.

2.    Four-year high school diploma. Admission is also permitted to candidates with four-year diplomas from a high school at which the additional year was not active. In this case, it is necessary to fulfil the specific Further required course assigned by the Faculty.

Enrolments in Bachelor’s degree programmes and single-cycle degree programmes with admission test

 

1.    Call for applications for degree programmes with an admission test. The procedures for admission to degree programmes with admission tests are set out in the call for applications issued for each degree programme and available in the Course Catalogue at https://corsidilaurea.uniroma1.it/en. The calls for applications also indicate the procedures for the fulfilment of the Ofa (Further required course). Enrolment is possible from September 2 until November 5, 2024.

Admission requirements for two-year Master’s degree programmes

 

1.    Enrolment in a two-year master's degree is subject to possession of a bachelor's degree or a three-year university diploma or a qualification deemed suitable under special laws or another qualification obtained in an international higher education system, deemed suitable. The specific requirements for each degree programme are indicated in the Course Catalogue, in the enrolment section of each degree. Go to the catalogue

Enrolment in two-year Master's degree programmes with entry requirements and academic knowledge assessment

 

 

1.    Entry requirements and academic knowledge. Enrolment in two-year Master's degree programmes that do not provide for restricted access is subject to the meeting of the entry requirements set out in each Programme's Regulations and to an academic knowledge assessment.

The curricular requirements, which must necessarily be met before enrolment, and the methods for assessing academic knowledge established by each Faculty are published on the web page of each degree programme in the course catalogue on the corsidilaurea.uniroma1.it/en site.

Simultaneous enrolment in two degree programmes

 

1.    Conditions and restrictions for simultaneous enrolment in two degree programmes. According to Law no. 33 of April 12, 2022, and its implementing decrees, without prejudice to the entry requirements for each degree programme, simultaneous enrolment in two degree programmes is permitted, even at more than one university, school or special-order higher education institution. Simultaneous enrolment is permitted at two Italian institutions or at one Italian and an international one.

Change to a different Degree programme

 

1.    Changes during the first year of enrolment. Anyone who is legally residing resident in Italy (including those from European or non-EU countries), enrols in a first-cycle degree programme in the academic year 2024-2025, meets the requirements to transfer to another first-cycle degree in the same academic year 2024-2025 and has not taken any exams, is not required to pay the transfer fee.

Enrolment procedures for years following the first

 

1. In order to enrol for degree programmes in years following the first year, the first instalment of university tuition fees must be paid by November 5, 2024. The amounts are indicated in Chapter II. It is also possible to pay all three instalments in a single payment by the same deadline.

Together with the amount of the tuition fees, any arrears and the regional tax for the right to education (if due) and stamp duty must be paid. The payment methods are described in Article 14.
