Instalments

1.    Payment in six instalments. In the event of proven and documented financial hardship (certified by the Isee 2024 declaration for the right to academic education, which must be lower than the threshold set for the no-tax area, i.e. € 24,000) and arrears (contributions due for years prior to the 2024-2025 academic year) that exceed € 1,500, the University may consider the possibility of granting an instalment payment of the outstanding tuition fees for a maximum of six instalments.

Enrolment as a regular student and as a fuoricorso student. Years of enrolment for obtaining certain benefits.

1.    Enrolment as a regular student. Enrolment as a regular student is maintained for the normal duration of the degree programme laid down in the relevant academic system (e.g. 3 years for bachelor's degrees, 2 years for master's degrees).

2.    Enrolment as a fuoricorso student. Fuoricorso enrolment occurs when one exceeds the normal duration of the degree programme without having obtained the educational qualification or without having passed all the exams required for admission to the final degree exam.

Forfeiture (only for students under the “old academic system”, before Ministerial Decree 509/99)

1.    When does “forfeiture” occur. Students who are enrolled fuoricorso on degree programmes under the old academic system (prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99) forfeit their student status if they do not sit exams for eight consecutive academic years, pursuant to Article 149 of Royal Decree 1592 of August 31, 1933 (regardless of the payment of contributions).

Forfeiture is automatic and the University is not obliged to inform students of their forfeited status or their imminent forfeiture.
