
Department of Physics' Lecture Hall 4 named after Giustina Baroni
On Tuesday, February 22, Lecture Hall 4 of the Department of Physics was officially named after Giustina Baroni. A graduate in Chemistry and Physics from Sapienza University, Giustina Baroni taught General Physics from 1974 to 1995, becoming an outstanding lecturer and scientific guide. Many of her students have had brilliant scientific and academic careers, inheriting her enthusiasm, authority and moral rigour.
Rector Antonella Polimeni and the Director of the Department of Physics Shahram Rahatlou opened the ceremony, followed by Aleandro Nisati, Division Director of the National Institute for Nuclear Physics in Rome, Gianni Battimelli, and Sergio Di Liberto.
