Sapienza promotes the growth of human capital through a range of training, refresher and support initiatives aimed at our scientific community, doctoral students and technical-administrative staff.
Research ethics, integrity and safety
Continuing education in research ethics, integrity and safety must be provided from the very start of young researchers’ careers, as indicated and recommended by the main national and international guidelines on responsible research. With a view to promoting a solid understanding of ethical principles, thereby helping to strengthen the quality, reliability and transparency of scientific activities, a course comprising several training modules is being planned, designed to provide theoretical and practical tools on these topics. Particular attention will also be paid to the responsible and informed use of artificial intelligence in research. The initiative aims to support PhD students from the very start of their studies, encouraging responsible behaviour within the scientific community.
