On Tuesday, June 18, Rector Antonella Polimeni and the President of the Consiglio nazionale dei giovani (CNG), Maria Cristina Pisani, signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a new strategic alliance to promote and strengthen a common commitment to gender equality and the fight against violence.

The initiative stems from the desire to contribute to consolidating a fair and just environment, where the younger generations can grow, train and actively participate in society. It focuses on concrete and tangible actions aimed at breaking down gender barriers and empowering girls through joint initiatives in all areas, from education to the world of work. The aim is to train and raise awareness among young people on the issues of gender equality and the fight against violence and all forms of discrimination and social marginalisation, by carrying out joint activities capable of increasing the involvement of girls and boys in the processes of promoting a culture of equality and in the creation of concrete empowerment paths and tools.
