
Sapienza University and Bethlehem University join forces for cultural and scientific cooperation
The General Agreement on Cultural and Scientific Cooperation between Sapienza University of Rome and Bethlehem University was signed today by Rector Antonella Polimeni and Vice-Chancellor Hernán Santos, in the presence of a delegation from the Palestinian University in Rome and H.E. Issa Kassisieh, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Holy See.
Sapienza and Bethlehem University are committed to creating concrete opportunities for collaboration, including student, faculty and researcher mobility, joint implementation of research projects, exchange of scientific knowledge and development of shared training initiatives, with a view to dual degree programmes and joint degrees.
The agreement was unanimously approved by the governing bodies of Sapienza University of Rome, demonstrating a strong collective institutional commitment to the partnership and the values it embodies.
The University of Bethlehem is the first university founded in Palestine and the only Catholic university in the Holy Land.
