97 scholarships to Palestinian students. Sapienza participates in the project coordinated by CRUI
The IUPALS project (Italian Universities for Palestinian Students), provides 97 scholarships, each worth approximately 12,000 euros per year, funded by 35 Italian universities. These scholarships are available to Palestinian students living in the Palestinian territories who wish to undertake a full cycle of university studies (Bachelor's degrees, Master's degrees, or a single-cycle degree programmes) in Italy.
IUPALS' main objective is twofold: to facilitate the tertiary education of Palestinian students by offering them the opportunity to study in an international academic environment, and to strengthen cooperation between Italian universities and Palestinian educational institutions by promoting processes of internationalisation and cultural integration.
Students interested in IUPALS grants can already read the calls for applications on the websites of the 35 participating universities where they can also enrol on the Italian language and culture course that prepares students for academic admission.
