Centre for victims of violence at Sapienza University

Call for the management of a Centro antiviolenza published

Disco Lazio has published the public call for the management of a Centro antiviolenza (centre open to victims of stalking, gender-based, domestic, sexual and economic violence) about to be opened in the Sapienza premises of Via dei Sardi 55, in the San Lorenzo district, Rome.

The Centre, which will also be launched at the Tuscia University in Viterbo, will welcome and support women victims of sexual violence, aggression, abuse or psychological violence, also offering legal and psychological services. The Centre will also promote knowledge and awareness of the phenomenon by organising events and meetings on gender violence, involving different professionals and experts.

The opening of a Centro antiviolenza, as well as the appointment of a Confidential Counsellor and the drafting of our Gender Equality Plan, are part of a series of concrete gender-related policies and activities that Sapienza is undertaking.
