
The challenges of Sapienza University after COVID-19. Distance learning and artificial intelligence at the Forum PA
Sapienza University took part in the Forum Pa 2020, the exhibition dedicated to innovation in public administrations. Our University contributed to the online event, scheduled from July 6 to 11, with a talk to be held on July 6 at 4.30 pm, entitled "The challenges of Sapienza after COVID. Distance learning and artificial intelligence". Over 250 people, representing universities, schools, public administrations and agencies, followed the talk connected from all over Italy.
The first part of the talk aimed to analyse the experience gained by Sapienza with distance learning, focusing on the challenges and opportunities offered by the COVID-19 emergency, in particular. Expert teachers and students examined the topic. The second part aimed to analyse the theme of artificial intelligence, exploring both its educational and social aspects.
Rector Eugenio Gaudio opened the event. The Deputy Rector for Right to Education and Academic Quality Tiziana Pascucci and the student Iulia Ferent talked about the experience of Sapienza with distance learning. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Department of Sapienza Alessandro Mei, and the Managing Director of Agendadigitale.eu Alessandro Longo participated in the following session on Artificial Intelligence. The Director General Simonetta Ranalli and the Rector of Unitelma Sapienza Antonello Folco Biagini closed the seminar; Mario Morcellini, Communication Advisor, moderated the talk.
