CIVIS call for lecturers and researchers to propose new Blended Intensive Programmes
CIVIS has opened the new call for proposals addressed to Sapienza University lecturers and researchers interested in organising BIPs, Blended Intensive Programmes. New proposals can be submitted until May 31, 2024, while the courses will take place next year, once the selection process for international students interested in participating has been completed. CIVIS actively supports academics and researchers from its partner universities in setting up BIPs, organising networking activities and promoting short-term mobility. BIPs combine online teaching with a short period of face-to-face mobility to another university, thus promoting international study opportunities. Each BIP is designed, organised and delivered by academics from three or more universities participating in the CIVIS programme (including non-CIVIS Erasmus+ universities): University of Glasgow, University of Lausanne and African partner universities), at the end of which the participating students receive from the coordinating university a number of CFUs between 3 and 9, depending on the course offered.
The topics of the BIP proposals should relate to one or more of the following areas of interest: climate, environment, energy; society, culture, heritage; health; cities, territories, mobility; digital and technological transformation.
Full details and how to submit proposals are available on the CIVIS website.
