CURRICULUM IN ROMAN LAW AND ANTIQUITY LAW the fundamental objective is to promote research concerning Roman law in the historical context of ancient societies. Relevant fields of investigation and reflection, as well as an essential consideration on the rationale of Roman law, are jurisprudential law, the analysis and resolution of controversial cases (Roman law as case law), the construction of theoretical schemes and the definition of the ideals that move jurists and inspire their choices. CURRICULUM IN ORDER THEORY: The Theory of Legal Systems curriculum pursues its objectives in a peculiar multidisciplinary perspective and is structured according to two autonomous and specific itineraries, deeply connected to the other curricula of the doctorate in a theoretical horizon that concerns the reference both to the legal system theme and to the questions of justice: an itinerary is more closely connected to the philosophy of law, to the general theory of law, to legal hermeneutics according to reflections that invest the rights of the human being, in an intercultural context they should be marked by the current power of algorithms; the other pertains to the problems of canon and ecclesiastical law, according to a Weltanschauung that is both theoretical and more closely connected to positive law. CURRICULUM IN CONTRACT LAW AND BUSINESS ECONOMICS: The thematic areas dealt with in the field of private market law aim to contribute to strengthening the national and international integration of university systems through the promotion of initiatives in the cultural, scientific and didactic through the study of legal and economic sciences, also in the context of European legal and political institutions; all pursuing the mediated aim of building the foundations for the formation of a European juridical area and for the consolidation and perfect integration within the common market.
