Participate in the Erasmus+ Programme! You can spend three to twelve months at another European or non-European country, experience a new culture and broaden your horizons.
The Erasmus+ Mobility Programme is promoted by the European Union to allow students to spend three to twelve months at another university in Europe or outside of Europe.
Erasmus students attend courses, take exams and transfer the earned credits back to Sapienza. Moreover, the Erasmus+ Programme also provides a grant to help you cover the costs of living abroad.
As an Erasmus+ student you are guaranteed the acceptance of all your educational activities completed abroad. You do not have to pay tuition abroad (you pay tuition at the university where you are enrolled) and have all the rights reserved to enrolled students at your host university.
Nearly 600 universities participate in the Erasmus+ Programme. These include:
- The European Union’s 27 Member States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom;
- European Economic Area: Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway;
- EU Applicant Countries: Turkey and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia;
- Non-EU countriesparticipating in the Erasmus+ Programme.
Erasmus Study Mobility allows students to enjoy a university experience in another European Country, as well as other countries participating in the programme, and attend courses, take exams, work on their theses, conduct research and attend clinical and lab activities, receiving full recognition for the completed educational activities.
