In other words, the culture of inclusion in a Sapienza video directed by Matteo Quarta

As part of the Doors (re) open at Sapienza event, on Tuesday 12 July 2022, the video In other words by director Matteo Quarta was presented.
The video was promoted by the "Commission for initiatives in favor of students with disabilities and SLD", conceived by the Audiovisual Laboratory for the entertainment (Labs) of Sapienza and financed by the educational offer and right to study area with the aim of promoting dissemination of the culture of inclusion.

Inclusive wisdom: projects and experiences for a university of recovery

On Monday 21 June 2021 from 11.00 to 12.00, on the occasion of the FORUM PA, the specific role of universities in terms of inclusion was discussed, starting from the experience of Sapienza. During the talk there was the intervention of Dr. Fabio Mollicone - Sector for relations with disabled students and with SLD.

Sports activity in Sapienza

We inform you that the sports offer is available on the SapienzaSport Service Center page (https://web.uniroma1.it/sapienzasport/), totally free for students with disabilities.
Furthermore, a research project has been activated aimed at demonstrating the effects of an adequate physical exercise program, preparatory to practicing Paralympic Sports at a competitive level (if interested, contact Prof. Bernardi - marco.bernardi @ uniroma.it)

New Delegate for the integration of students with disabilities and with Learning Disorder

The Rector, Antonella Polimeni, has appointed Prof. Caterina Lombardo, Delegate for the integration of students with disabilities and with Learning Disorder.

National Civil Service

On February 19, 2021, the "La Sapienza di tutti - University and inclusion" project ended.
In this year, the volunteer operators of the National Civil Service, despite the ongoing health emergency, have completed the following activities:
- guarantee the functioning of the "Study Room" equipped with accessible tables and hardware and software instruments dedicated to students with disabilities;
- archive the documentation of students registered with our Sector;
- carry out a remote tutoring service, able to assist students with disabilities and SLDs in studying, writing a thesis or during exams;
- organize and manage information meetings during the "Open Doors to Sapienza" event, which took place electronically;
- support, from a distance, students in their incoming and outgoing orientation.

Diversity Day at Sapienza, the career day for protected categories

On Wednesday 20 November 2019, starting at 9.00 am, the most important Italian event dedicated to the work placement of people with disabilities and belonging to protected categories, the Diversity Day, took place at the Marco Polo Building.
