The Unit manages, in particular, the activities related to:

• Management of Sapienza catalogue for research outputs (IRIS): coordination and monitoring of updates;
• Guidelines for the inclusion of research outputs and their validation, information and training for users and catalogue referents in synergy with the University Library System (SBS);
• Coordination and support to the representatives of the departmental IRIS catalogue and to the validators-librarians, in collaboration with SBS;
• Promotion and monitoring of Sapienza's policies for Open Access and Open Data, in collaboration with SBS;
• Coordination of research data collection for external assessment (VQR, SUA RD, SUA TM) and support and processing of research data for internal assessment;
• Development of IT applications, in collaboration with CINFO, for the needs of Governance as well as internal and external subjects, for the extraction of data from the IRIS catalogue useful for research productivity analysis, ranking ofSapienza, accreditation of doctorates, monitoring search results, report production, etc.
• Consultation and use, for internal and external assessment purposes, of research databases and the most used for research bibliographic DBs (WoS, Scopus, PubMed)
